Creating Space for Successful Learning at All Levels

Our schools are not just a place for education. We pride ourselves on creating a school community where anyone can come to access the library, gymnasium or learn virtually from home.

We believe in order to create change in our community, we first need to create change in our schools. Through after school programs in arts, physical education, and learning programs – our staff inspire change inside and outside of the classroom.

A Word from Donna Hardlotte

KES Principal

Tansi, Tawow! I am the new principal of Keethanow Elementary School. I would like to welcome you all to our school. I am looking forward to working together and making this a great school year for our children and for all of us. I do cherish your partnership and collaboration with our education system. This handbook contains information about our school rules and routines. The dates for the school year and our bus routes are also included. We hope that you will find it helpful and that you will spend some time looking through it with your family.
We continue to work towards making our school a safe and respectful environment for students and staff members. We consider our school to be a community school and we welcome parents/guardians and community members to participate in our school events. Our main goal is to get the children to come to school every day as education is the most important tool to success. We will have incentives throughout the school year for good Attendance, Achievement and Attitude. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
